Since releasing their debut album, they have seen international success with their alt-pop singles. Vander Gucht and West recorded and released one song a month for a year, starting in September Both albums were entirely written, recorded, produced and mixed by the duo and have received cross-platform success. They played sold-out shows in London, Paris , New York , and Los Angeles one week after their debut album release, which marked the beginning of the band's touring career. They have since played headline shows and festivals in 45 countries. Before the duo was formed, Josephine was a solo artist, first going by her own name and then later under the alias of "LAYLA". This is their third album as a pair following the release of Oh Wonder and Ultralife , both of which have received positive reviews for their unique style. The song includes the titular phrase of the album and sets the uplifting tone of the rest of the album. The duo reminds us that in hard times, we should keep in mind that we are all connected to each other, and the tune brings forward a theme of love rather than division amongst ourselves that needs to be heard. Another memorable title from the list is the song Happy. Not only does the song bring the listener into an engaging storyline, but it manages to simultaneously have a sound that stays in the mind of whoever has heard it long after the headphones come off. Happy brings forward a story in which we are placed in the point of view of someone who has been through a breakup and sees their partner has moved on. The upbeat song has a catchy pop-like chorus throughout and echoed lyrics that bring the reader back into the tune near the end.
